Timothy Glotch

A planetary scientist interested in the formation and evolution of asteroids and the crusts of the Moon and Mars, Tim Glotch uses laboratory spectroscopic techniques, modeling, and terrestrial analog field work to enable more quantitative analyses of remote sensing data of planetary surfaces. He is a Co-Investigator on the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Diviner Lunar Radiometer Experiments, a Participating Scientist on the OSIRIS-REx asteroid sample return mission, and the Principal Investigator of the Remote, In Situ, and Synchrotron Studies for Science and Exploration (RIS 4 E) node of NASA's Solar System Exploration Research Virtual Institute. Tim is a recipient of numerous NASA Group Achievement awards for his mission involvement and the NSF CAREER award.
