Bringing the campus together to stand against hate

The University of Delaware Office of Institutional Equity will hold a live Zoom Speak-Out on “Standing Together Against Hate” at noon, Thursday, May 18. All members of the University community are invited to participate.

This community engagement event – at https://udel.zoom.us/j/92828633166 -- is being presented in response to recent hate-fueled events on campus and nationally.

“This Speak-Out is a step toward understanding what the campus community, especially those directly affected by bias incidents occurring on campus, deems the necessary actions to be, so that we can work on, implement and/or effectuate those things,” said Fatimah Conley, vice president for institutional equity and chief diversity officer. “Please join me and members of the Office of Institutional Equity this Thursday at noon to come together in community and share your thoughts and ideas.”

The University of Delaware continues to work to uphold its ongoing commitment to social justice, through the work of countless staff members, as well as University and community partners.
